The Winnipeg Branch of the CCFCC will host the first CCFCC Winnipeg High School Competition on January 20th at Red River College , Patterson GlobalFoods Institute. The competition will pit teams of three high school students in a competition to complete a full three course menu in three hours.
Little Brown Jug Brewing Company on 336 William Avenue will be the site of our January meeting. Come out and see the process behind the beer. Meeting will be sponsored by Mariner Neptune, Little Bones , made in Manitoba Wings and Manitoba Canola.

The Winnipeg CCFCC Holiday Family Brunch will take place on Sunday December 3, 2017 at Holiday Inn South at ten thirty am. This is an all members event and you are encouraged to bring out your family to meet your CCFCC Branch. The morning will feature a buffet prepared by Chef Eldon Brink, a trip to the gingerbread table for the Kids and a visit by the jolly man in red. Please forward names and ages of member’s children or grandchildren twelve years and under to Karl Oman at koman@RRC.CA before October 1, 2017 to insure there will be something under the tree. All are welcome to attend. Please RSVP attendance for the brunch by November 1, 2017 to the branch email.
The October event for CCFCC members will be an educational fun evening at the Grant Park Liquor Mart’s Education Centre on October 11 at 7:00 PM. The subject for the evening will be North American Whiskies (Rye and Bourbon, etc).
Association Members will be guided through the intricacies of the finest of Whiskies. We will taste several Whiskies in 3 flights paired with Snacks prepared by our local Chefs. There will be a ten dollar charge per person. Please RSVP to confirm attendance as there is limited seating.
