Culinary Virtual meeting with Maple Leaf and Bothwell Cheese

19:00 - 21:00

The Culinary Federation Winnipeg will be presenting a special virtual meeting for members next Wednesday November 18, 2020 at seven pm on Zoom. We will be having two guest speakers plus a short update from the branch.

We will be joined by John Scarcella for a look at the good things happening at Manitoba’s fore-most cheese maker, Bothwell Cheese. John is working from a home office based in Winnipeg and plays a key role in supporting  existing customer base, developing new and existing relationships and looking for opportunities to grow Bothwells sales and brand awareness. John will be sharing some of the new directions Bothwell Cheese is going in order to meet the current needs of Canadian consumers.

We will also hear from Vanda Racciatti, of Maple Leaf, who will provide us a report on how the food service industry is on the precipice of transforming into something different and how her company has adapted to the pandemic. As Canada’s leading consumer protein company, Maple Leaf has an obligation to do things better, smarter and more responsibly. They are a company that grew from our history and now face the food industry with the goal of providing consumers great tasting food produced in a safe work environment. Maple Leaf is dedicated to offering Canadians high-quality, delicious, nutritious and innovative food products under leading brands including Maple Leaf®, Schneiders®, Mina™ and Greenfield Natural Meat Co.™  and others.

The team at Binner Marketing and Sales will be working with the association to ensure the Zoom invites will be sent to members and invited guests twenty hours prior to the event.
